Governance
The American Board of Telehealth is governed by a Founding Board and an Advisory Council that includes representation from telehealth experts from across the country. These experts include members of academia who have a broad range of experience in patient care, health care policy, business, technology and community service.
The Founding Board and the Advisory Council are responsible for:
- Oversight and strategic vision of the advancement in telehealth education.
- Setting standards of care.
- Enhancing integration of telehealth across the continuum.
